The Story Behind the Hangtown Sideshow
Dr. Lash loved his freaks. He enjoyed their company much more then his late wife,
and even more then his own son Bobby. Of course he loved them for the revenue they
brought in to his traveling sideshow, and for not much else. But young Bobby never
saw it that way, he was told many times that he was a useless drain on his father's
accounts.
Bobby was growing up, always traveling with the sideshow, but never allowed to be
a part of it. He started to become more recluse, and was never seen without his
teddy bear “Buttons”. After years on the road, that toy began to fall apart, so
Bobby decided he need to save it as best he could, after all Buttons was the only
one who listened to him. He began sewing parts of the bear into his face and body,
living among the old costumes and off the garbage the show produced, he slowly went
insane, and began his plot to make his daddy notice him.
Now Dr. Lash's Sideshow has set up right outside of Deadlands, but something has
gone wrong this time... Step right up and see the oddities and freaks of the Sideshow!
